Where the Listeners Were in October 2007

Another display of "geo stats" from Live365 of listeners in October, and some of the stats are surprising (to me at least). Here are the top 10 Metro areas in the US for listeners in October, with quite a mixture of larger and smaller markets:

8. Albuquerque - Santa Fe
9. Los Angeles
10. Cincinnati

And for the top 10 countries in listenership in October, more surprises:

2. Canada
3. United Kingdom
4. Turkey
5. Netherlands
6. Brazil
7. Japan
8. Spain
9. Australia
10. Korea, Republic of

Closely behind the ROK were the Dominican Republic and the Philippines. And I am surprised that Turkey was just behind the UK, unusual for a station with an admittedly Anglican bent! There were listeners from 50 countries in October, with those in 38 countries listening for at least 30 minutes. Thanks to all of you for listening to this station, wherever you are!
