Possibly no one but myself finds mention of listener stats interesting, so even if only to amuse myself I will post this anyway. One observation I have is that in summer, with lower listenership overall, those in smaller markets tend to predominate, and such is the case with the top 10 US metro areas:
- Albuquerque - Santa Fe
- Rochester, NY
- Boston (Manchester)
- Washington DC (Hagerstown)
- Los Angeles
- Raleigh - Durham (Fayetteville)
- Miami - Fort Lauderdale
- Phoenix
- Cincinnati
- Dallas - Fort Worth
The list of the top 10 countries is more conventional, with one surprise:
- United States
- Canada
- Netherlands
- United Kingdom
- Japan
- Bahamas (this is the surprise, for this comparatively smaller country to rank)
- France
- Korea, Republic of
- Italy
- Norway
Poland and Brazil were minutes behind Norway. Overall, 53 countries harbored listeners to this station in August, and of those 28 countries contained those who listened at least an half-hour. That this was in a vacation month with a tired playlist blows me away! Thanks to all!
